Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was a gymnast from the United America who was awarded gold medals at the 2012 Olympics. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to earn the highest number of medals in the Olympics. She won the gold in the team event in the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Additionally, she took home two silver medals in the floor exercise as well as an individual all-around. The break was for three years between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. She also was one of the gold medal winning American teams at the two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons when she was just two years old and is a fan of exercises on the floor. Aly works with her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand the line of socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
